In the Winter and Spring terms, Tenby Fencing club meets on Tuesday Nights at Greenhill School Gym, Tenby, 7-9PM ages 9 upwards.
Bloomfield Centre in Narberth has been booked for a new club on Wednesdays from 6:00PM to 7:30PM starting 12th September 2002. Weekly charges are £1.00 for juniors and £1.50 for adults, the first week being free. |

The money goes into club funds for new and replacement equipment,
affiliation fees and so on - all coaching is done on a voluntary
basis.
Additionally, all club members are required to
join Welsh
Fencing - minimum charge £4.00 for club fencing ('social membership'). There
are various other rates to cover entry to competitions depending on age. This
provides the necessary insurance cover for participating in the
sport.

In April and May we provided taster sessions in sabre at Saundersfoot, Manorbier, Tenby, Narberth and Penally youth clubs. These were welcomed by the youth group leaders and enjoyed by the members. As usual we provided two sessions of approximately one hour. These consisted of
Generally the younger members of the clubs are given a chance in the first session and the older ones get a go afterwards. This is mainly because it is easier to practice with someone approximately your own height

Tenby club was stated over twenty years ago, run by Dave Perry. After he finished, it was run with the help of Nigel Gregory. After Neil left, to go to college and work away, the club dwindled and closed. The club was re-established in September 1999 by Neil. with equipment supplied by Welsh Fencing.
